Named Best Hiking / Biking Trail by Colorado Community Media, these soft-surface trails travel through valleys and ridgelines of the 367-acre open space property. The single-track unpaved trail system is divided into four interconnected, colored loops of moderate difficulty. The main outside loop, Stewart Trail, is 9.5 miles in length with mileage markers every 0.5 miles. Paved connections offer access to surrounding neighborhoods.Visitors can take in views of the Front Range to the west and the Town below as they traverse through valleys, ridgelines, open grassland and dense Gambel’s Oak.
