LeBron James' 38 points and 10 rebounds weren't enough to beat Minnesota. The Timberwolves responded with two remarkable performances from Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels. The former led Minnesota with 30 points while Edwards contributed 29 to reclaim the series lead.

LeBron James turned in a vintage performance on Friday night as he went off in the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 3 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The NBA's all-time leading scorer finished with a game-high 38 points on 13-of-21 shooting, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and five triples in 41 minutes of action.

Minnesota leads the best-of-7 series 2-1. Game 4 is Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis. While Edwards was generating buckets, the Lakers were doing nothing of the sort on the other end.
