Asus just announced its newest mouse design, the Asus Fragrance Mouse. It’s fragrant because there’s scented oil inside of it. That’s it. Go home. After 50 years, we’ve reached the pinnacle of PC mouse perfection.

As The Verge reports, Asus actually announced two fragrance devices at CES 2025: this mouse and the equally scent-producing Asus Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition laptop.

You may not be able to get a complete stinky laptop and mouse set, since the Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition has only been released in China since being introduced in July 2024, as Ars Technica notes. Spence was unable to confirm pricing details for the Fragrance Mouse in his email to The Verge.

Asus says that the removable vial can be washed and refilled with different scents, so you can customize it to your olfactory preferences. As for colors, it'll be available in Iridescent White and Rose Clay. Beyond its gimmick, this Asus mouse is one that's primarily focused on its looks.

The mouse is ergonomic, wireless, and comes in plain or pink ("Iridescent White or Rose Clay"). Its innards house a refillable vial for scent oils. It features "delicate underglow lighting," a sell that would be easier to make fun of if most gaming hardware wasn't illuminated by a choice of either energy drink piss green or antiseptic gel blue.
