Players who bought the Nintendo Switch 2 with the laser focus of playing Nintendo’s exclusive titles may have been disappointed that the sole first-party experience available at launch was Mario Kart World.

Earlier this week we also shared our final preview of Donkey Kong Bananza here on Nintendo Life, and despite some minor technical concerns, his latest adventure is showing all the signs of becoming his greatest outing to date. The game's developer has been confirmed as well.

In a Nintendo Treehouse stream following the Switch 2 Direct, we got to take a closer look at some Donkey Bananza gameplay, which took us underground in a mining area. From seeing DK slap the ground to collect nearby items, to using chunks of terrain to clear obstacles, and break up the environment.
