Urban Meyer is about to take one giant step toward the ultimate homecoming. When UF announced earlier this week that it would honor Meyer during the regular-season finale against Tennessee at The Swamp on Nov.

Mullen will make his coaching debut with UNLV on Saturday when the Rebels host Idaho State at 4 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Gators, which enter year four under Napier, will host Long Island on Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. ET to open the season.

Florida football newcomers Dallas Wilson and Jayden Woods were named to the 247Sports Preseason True Freshman All-America Team for 2025.

Head coach Todd Golden and the Florida Gators are coming off an incredible 2024-25 season.
