WILLIAMSPORT, PA (WFSB) - The Fairfield National Little League team is one win away from becoming national champions. First, they must get past familiar foe Las Vegas in Williamsport, PA. The game was scheduled for Saturday. Friday, Fairfield National prepared for the Little League United States Championship.

Fairfield, after four wins at the Little League World Series, is in the driver’s seat, with two days off before facing either South Carolina or Las Vegas in the U.S. championship on Saturday

Connecticut’s Fairfield National is one step closer to a Little League World Series title. The team advanced to the U.S. title game with a 7-3 win over the Summerlin South Little League team from Las Vegas on Wednesday, riding strong defense, clutch hitting and a gutsy pitching performance.
