EUGENE, Ore. — The Maryland football team’s improbable bid to upset top-ranked Oregon crumbled amid myriad errors in all three phases Saturday night, dealing another blow to the Terrapins’ diminishing aspirations of extending their streak of bowl appearances.

Being an offensive lineman sucks. You suffer the most injuries, endure the most head impacts, sweat (a lot), grind, squat, twist, push and snap. And you usually only get talked about when you aren’t playing well.

It says a lot when the report card has some Bs and Cs and the team still won by three touchdowns. The Maryland game
