Google's Gemini 2.0 just rolled out to everyone. The tech giant has several models that compete with trending tech from OpenAI, Microsoft, and DeepSeek.

Microsoft MSFT.O has made Chinese startup DeepSeek's R1 artificial intelligence model available on its Azure cloud computing platform and GitHub tool for developers, the U.S. company said on Wednesday. The AI model will be available in the model catalog on the platforms and will join more than 1,800 models that Microsoft is offering.

Google has now given its Gemini app access to a new AI model called Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental. According to the announcement blog post, the company says this model is currently “ranked as the world’s best model” and is available at no cost.
