Quinn Ewers went through a lot with the Texas football program. Ewers experienced a lot of hate from Texas fans who did not want to wait to see Arch Manning at quarterback. He has also dealt with adversity by overcoming multiple injuries during his collegiate career.

Ewers looked good, by many accounts, with his accuracy and ball placement. He did not, however, attempt several ground drills, such as the 40-yard dash or broad jump. Since 2000, Texas football has had just four quarterbacks taken in the NFL draft.
