Two people died and nine others were wounded following a shooting this afternoon at the Barus & Holley building of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, officials said.

A shooting at Brown University left at least two students dead and eight wounded.

The incident was reported near the Barus & Holley building, a seven-story structure that houses the School of Engineering and Physics Department, according to the school’s website.
