Savion Hiter, the nation's No. 1 running back in the 2026 recruiting class and a former Ohio State target, has committed to Michigan.

Ohio State has one running back commitment, four-star Favour Akih, in the class as it stands. And with momentum not on the Buckeyes’ side headed into Hiter’s decision, it certainly appears that Akih might be the only running back in coach Carlos Locklyn’s class.
