Tesla's new car sales in Britain rose year-on-year in June amid a broader recovery in the electric-vehicle market, data showed on Friday, as the U.S. auto maker started deliveries of its updated Model Y last month.

Elon Musk's electric vehicle company Tesla delivered 13% fewer cars in the second quarter of 2025 compared to a year earlier.

Schmidt Automotive reports that Tesla has endured six year-on-year losses in quarterly new registration volumes across Western Europe, and is now staring down a seventh. Tesla’s share of the EV market shrank across the region to 7.2 percent in May, down from the 12.6 percent share it had in May 2024.
