Like Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, Cora was born and raised in Puerto Rico. The 50-year-old competed for Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic in 2006 and 2009. On Monday, Cora expressed how well Bad Bunny represents the island in his performances.

The first time people associated the two was in 2020, when Bad Bunny explained his introduction to drag culture by way of his cousin. “He would come to my house so I could make his mixes,” Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone.
