Conor McGregor's return to the octagon at UFC 329 ended in an extremely quick and disappointing fashion with a first-round injury.

Conor McGregor's manager said in a social media post Sunday that fighter did not have a previous knee injury prior to his shortened UFC 329 fight with Max Holloway.

Fighting for the first time in more than five years, McGregor said the injury “came out of nowhere” after he landed awkwardly on his right knee.
