Hurricane Priscilla has begun weakening in the Pacific Ocean but is still expected to bring heavy rainfall to portions of the southwestern U.S.

Tropical Storm Humberto formed Wednesday, and another storm may form soon, but their potential effects remain fairly uncertain.

Moisture from what remains of Hurricane Priscilla in the Pacific will bring a chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms Thursday and Friday in Southern California. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are most likely Thursday inland and in the mountains.

The National Hurricane Center's forecast track warns a new system, to be named Imelda, could stall offshore and dump heavy rain on the Southeast.

Expect a high of 63 degrees that feels more like 65, with an overnight low of 39. Forecasters predict it will be plenty of sunshine. Throughout the day, wind will be blowing northeast at 6.9 miles per hour.
