A small grass fire broke out at Red Rock Canyon Open Space this afternoon.

On Monday afternoon, the Colorado Springs Fire Department was battling a grass fire at Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - An injured hiker was rescued from Red Rock Canyon by a helicopter crew Saturday. Las Vegas Metro search and rescue teams were deployed to Red Springs around 6 p.m. for a rescue operation. A hiker had sustained an ankle injury while climbing the Happy Acres route and became stranded.
