A mass shooting carried out Saturday by multiple suspects in an unlicensed bar near the South African capital left at least 11 people dead, police said.

A mass shooting at a hostel has left 10 people dead and a further 10 rushed to hospital with emergency services at the scene.

Three minors were killed, the youngest 3 years old and believed to be related to the owner of the illegal tavern, Brigadier Mathe said.
