Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, released as The Super Shinobi II in Japan, is the fourth game in the Shinobi series and a direct sequel to The Revenge of Shinobi.
Days after Sega announced it Shinobi III comes to the virtual console along with Neutopia, a Zelda clone made by Hudson. While Super Metroid is a must purchase, Shinobi III is quite good too.
Shinobi III may be less difficult than the other games, but it still is the best game in the series. A classic and by no means flawed, Shinobi III will appeal to anyone who just wants to kick ass.
