Slack Technologies , a provider of a cloud-based workplace messaging app, launched its product in 2013 and plans on list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange on June 20 through a direct listing.
It may turn out to be a banner year for initial public offerings, led by popular messaging app Slack. Slack said this week it had registered for a direct listing of its stock on the public market.
