Temperamental Russian Daniil Medvedev was Saturday fined $76,000 over his behaviour at the Australian Open, where he destroyed a net camera, threw his racquet and skipped a post-match press conference.

The Russian, a three-time beaten finalist, crashed out of the tournament in the second round following a five-set loss to American teenager Learner Tien.
