Cordless hair devices are the latest items to be banned from checked luggage, as reflected in the TSA’s “What Can I Bring?” list. This includes cordless curling irons and flatirons containing gas cartridges, butane-fueled curling irons and flatirons, and gas refill cartridges for these tools.

The TSA and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) just updated their prohibited items list, and a few popular hair styling tools have gotten the boot.
