Mumbai Indians superstar pacer Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly returned to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, a to evaluate his recovery ahead of the highly anticipated Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) following a gruesome back injury.

Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene did not give a time frame for Jasprit Bumrah’s return to competitive cricket, and said the pace spearhead’s absence will be a massive “challenge” for his side in the IPL 2025.

Jasprit Bumrah suffered a back injury during the final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia in January and has yet to recover.
