Sonia Citron ties a career high with five three-pointers and finishes with 24 points to lead the Washington Mystics to a 95-86 victory over the Sparks.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Veronica Burton hit six 3-pointers and scored 30 points — both career highs — Cecilia Zandalasini also made six 3s and finished with 20 points, and the Golden State Valkyries beat the Washington Mystics 88-83 on Wednesday night for their third straight win.

Connecticut faces Washington in a matchup of Eastern Conference teams. Thursday's game is the fourth meeting this season between the two teams.

Sonia Citron poured in 24 points and fellow rookie Kiki Iriafen posted 18 points and 10 rebounds as the host Washington Mystics defeated the Los Angeles Sparks, 95-86, on Sunday afternoon.
