Jetstar’s operations are officially back to normal after Airbus issued a sudden software update that affected almost 100 Jetstar flights on Saturday - and left thousands of passengers stranded.

Multiple flights scheduled to arrive or depart Adelaide Airport have been cancelled as an issue affecting Airbus planes sparks aviation chaos across the world.

Jetstar says all aircraft affected by the Airbus fleet software issue are expected to return to service overnight, “allowing flights to resume as planned on Sunday 30 November”.
