While most Los Angeles Rams fans are incredibly worried about how Chris Shula's squad is going to slow down Saquon Barkley, one player who has shockingly flown under the radar is Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles' Pro Bowl quarterback and one-time MVP candidate.

Although the Eagles called 34 rushing plays compared to just 21 pass attempts, quarterback Jalen Hurts played his part as well. He was efficient through the air (13-for-21, 131 yards), distributing touchdown passes to wideout Jahan Dotson and tight end Dallas Goedert.

“He wants to be great,” Barkley told The Athletic. “He’ll do anything to be great.”

The Eagles have gone 14-3 in both 2022 and this season, tying the best regular-season records in franchise history. Hurts as the starter was 14-1 in 2022, when he led the Eagles to the Super Bowl and was the best player on the field in the Eagles' 38-35 loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl with 304 yards passing and 70 yards rushing.
