KABUL, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Poppy cultivation and drug production have been banned in Afghanistan and are now nearly at zero, spokesman of the caretaker government Zabihullah Mujahid said. Mujahid made the remarks in response to concerns from some countries regarding drug production and trafficking in post-war Afghanistan.
