Country Music Television is scrapping its longest-running original program, 'CMT Hot 20 Countdown' at the end of 2025.

CMT's "Hot 20 Countdown" series will end in December. The music video show is the country outlet's last original music series.

Yesterday, it was announced that CMT’s last original regular music program on the channel, the Hot 20 Countdown, will be concluding at the end of 2025 after 12 years on air on the television channel.
