Cal Raleigh is having a magnificent season for the Seattle Mariners. The superstar catcher is on the verge of setting a new single-season catcher home run record. Cal Raleigh and the Mariners took on the Mets in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. Raleigh made special gear for the occasion.

It was also another record-setting night for Seattle catcher Cal Raleigh. In the top of the third inning, Raleigh hit a two-run homer to left field. It was his major league-leading 46th homer of the season, which gave him sole possession of the second-most single-season homers by a catcher in MLB history, passing Hall of Famer Johnny Bench.
