The Texas music industry is mourning the loss of a musician who died this weekend after spending the day with his sons at Eagle Mountain Lake. Jim Chaikong, 50, had been out on the lake Saturday in his sailboat with his two sons, said Chaikong’s friend and fellow musician Ryan Reynolds, also known as Uncle Ryano.

A body was recovered from the lake. The news comes after a 50-year-old man went missing in the area the day before.

On Sunday, authorities found a body in Eagle Mountain Lake as they searched for the missing father whose two children were pulled from the water Saturday night. Friends of the victim said a family member confirmed it was 50-year-old Jimmy Chaikong.
