The Scouting Combine has been an Indianapolis institution for decades. And for good reason. Indy is the perfect host for the event. But it's not the most profitable. And some within the league's power structure continue to agitate to take the Combine on the road.

While AD Mitchell has to be much more consistent in 2025, if a team’s fourth receiver on the depth chart is an uber-talented second-year player, who even with the ups and downs, did show an impressive ability to create separation, well, that’s a good spot to be in.

The Indianapolis Colts are entering the 2025 offseason with over $30 million in effective cap space, leaving enough money to make a big move. If the Colts elect some cut candidates, the team could realistically see a boost to nearly $50-60 million in cap space.
