The Texas Rangers have placed second baseman Marcus Semien on the 10-day injured list for just the second time in his 13-year career with a left foot contusion and activated right fielder Adolis García.

Carter was hit by left-handed Daniel Lynch IV on his right (front) wrist in the seventh. He remained in the game to run the bases and played, but was replaced in the field in the bottom of the eighth. “In the moment, you’ve got some adrenaline,” Carter said. “But it started getting really stiff.”
