Alex Palou won the first two races of the 2025 season and is trying to become the first driver to win the first three races of a year since Scott Dixon — the defending Long Beach winner — did so in 2020.

Kyle Kirkwood is on the pole for Sunday's Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in California. Kirkwood's time of 1:06.1921 bested Colton Herta's time of 1:06.4232. Alex Palou and Felix Rosenqvist will be on the second row, followed by Marcus Ericsson and Scott McLaughlin on the third row.

After a fun-filled kick-off on Friday, the second day of the 50th annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is officially underway. While crowds are typically smaller on the first day of the Grand Prix, with its light schedule and folks still tied up in work and school — Saturday and Sunday tend to draw massive crowds.
