Multiple strategic and sensitive sites in Israel were directly hit last month by deadly Iranian ballistic missiles during the 12-day war, Operation Rising Lion.

The Paratroopers Brigade, under the command of the 36th Division is continuing other operations as well in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza.

The two leaders are expected to discuss the situation in Gaza, negotiations for the release of Israeli hostages still held captive by Hamas, and ongoing issues with Iran.
