Sophie Cunningham holds a positive outlook after suffering a season-ending knee injury against the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. The Indiana Fever guard tore her right MCL, the team announced Tuesday.

It was clear that Cunningham’s mother, Paula, held Hartley responsible for the injury after she shared a scathing post on X. "Hartley is a disgruntled player having trouble everywhere she goes; she’s plain mean and plays out of control,” she wrote.

The Indiana Fever's injury-plagued season continued Sunday when guard Sophie Cunningham had to be helped off the floor with a right knee injury early in the team's historic comeback win over the Connecticut Sun. Fever coach Stephanie White did not have an immediate update on Cunningham, who will undergo an MRI on Monday.
