Microsoft has once again made changes to Copilot, with the new version now being delivered to Windows 11 Insiders. The redesign is meant to rethink the experience from the ground up, and that means Copilot is now a native app that’s directly integrated into the operating system.

As you might know already, Copilot is now a native Windows app. This means it won’t be based on the Cloud to complete tasks; instead, it will rely on the device’s NPU systems to respond faster and generally get things done more easily.

Of course, activating Windows 11 in a less-than-legitimate way is nothing new. And the script that Copilot provides instructions for isn’t even a new one—it’s been around for a few years. However, the fact that Microsoft hasn’t created some kind of safety net to keep Copilot from talking people through the exact process is kind of crazy.
