Creighton, located across the Missouri River in Omaha, Nebraska, is one school that's expected to be a player in recruiting Dix, who may want to be closer to home for his final year of college basketball. Nebraska, located in Lincoln just over an hour away from Council Bluffs, could also be in the running.

Iowa guard Josh Dix is entering the transfer portal after three seasons with the Hawkeyes. Dix has improved a lot throughout his time as this season he was the team’s second-leading scorer with Iowa averaging 14.
