The finger-prick test for lead poisoning was painless enough, but Sean Hayes was disappointed that his two young daughters even had to go through the process. Saturday, he and his daughters were at a Milwaukee Health Department and Milwaukee Public Schools lead-testing clinic held at Bradley Tech High School.

While test results are immediate, it will take the health department time to drill down if lead exposure came from a home or from an MPS school.
