“Cheetozard,” a 3-inch long, red-hot puffy snack that somewhat resembles the fire-breathing Pokémon monster Charizard, sold at Goldin’s auction website this week to an anonymous buyer — perhaps a wanna-be Pokémon master.

A singular Cheeto shaped in the form of a Pokémon character has just sold for over $87,000. Nicknamed the “Cheetozard,” the cheesy cornmeal snack resembled one of the franchise’s main characters, an orange dragon named Charizard.

The puff officially sold at auction on Sunday for its resemblance to the character Charizard now nicknamed, “Cheetozard.”

We wouldn’t have gone a dime over five dollars, personally, but someone out there—presumably a diehard Pokémon fan with outrageously deep pockets —just dropped $87,840 on a Cheeto that achieved viral fame thanks to being shaped like a Charizard.

The relic is a three-inch Flamin’ Hot Cheeto that is shaped similarly to a Charizard, one of the original and most popular of the Pokémon franchise.

The viral Hot Cheeto shaped like Charizard has finally sold for $72,000. Its original bidding began at a modest $250 before quickly jumping into the thousands. For one reason or another, it didn't manage to top the near $100,
