Of course, there are also several private schools to choose from. Greenwich Country Day, Greenwich Catholic, Brunswick (for boys) and Greenwich Academy (for girls), just to name a few.

Nov 30, 2017 · Also keep in mind elementary redistricting is always a (admittedly unlikely) possibility in Greenwich (due to racial inbalance), and the fiasco going on with the New Lebanon school. These things could potentially effect property values. These factors made us favor Darien over Greenwich (and my wife went through the Greenwich public schools).

Feb 24, 2009 · I grew up in Greenwich and went throught the public schools (I'm 43 now). My parents still live there. You should be aware of the huge mess with the grade schools. They closed Hamilton Avenue school to do a complete gut/remodel, which it needed, and placed those kids temp. in trailer style modular classes near Western Junior High.

Jun 12, 2023 · US News & World Reports ranks Greenwich High School No. 9 in the state. That’s very good. The schools in town would be equally as good. I wouldn’t worry about which school is best. Greenwich schools have a strong curriculum so the differences are negligible. Look for a home that you like and serves your needs best. Good luck, Jay

Jun 2, 2008 · The trip from Greenwich to Grand central is 45 to 50 minutes. From Westport it is 60 to 65. There is however a big difference in housing prices with Greenwich being the pricest. $1.5 million in Greenwich will buy you a modest home. in Westport, it would be a bit nicer.
