Jan 31, 2025 · Yep. BioWare was not even remotely prepared to deliver on what it takes to keep a live service game running. Anthem didn't have an endgame loop that was designed to keep people engaged. It's like they didn't play or learn any lessons from Destiny, TD, Warframe etc. My hope is that they take the traversal and combat from Anthem and implement in ME5.

Jan 31, 2025 · Culturally BioWare was in a rough spot for a long time, and while Veilguard has issues creatively it did feel like they were able to get their house in better order and ship a really well polished title, hopefully this period with ME5 will help them cement those better practices and focus on a single title and reap the benefits with a clear ...

PC Gamer: After years of holding out hope, 2024 was the year
Dec 28, 2024 · So BioWare's games not being like their old PC games doesn't bother me that much. What bothers me is how desperate for validation they've felt for a very long time now. For a while it was the Mass Effect games feeling like they were being written specifically for the nerds on their official forums and nobody else, and then it was an entire ...

Oct 31, 2024 · Bioware is on a recovery path with DAV so it is very much expected, at least for me, not to see the game exploding in numbers on Steam(on the console it was first in the pre-purchases on the ps5) If it hits 100k simultaneously over the weekend it will be more than how pleasant for them I hope.

Jan 31, 2025 · Shame about BioWare most likely getting closed, but the writing was on a wall for a long time. It has been a shell of its former self since Muzyka and Zeschuk left the studio well over a decade ago. I still think ME is gonna get released, …
