More wild flamingos are being spotted in Florida, prompting the first ever flamingo census

Today we celebrate National Pink Flamingo Day! We have a very special reason to celebrate this year. The newest flamingo chick hatched on June 7. In a few days, the chick will start wandering off the nest to explore and can be seen in the shallow water, with mom or dad to watch, of course!
