The Belum-Temengor Forest Complex is one of the last refuges for many of Malaysia’s amazing, yet highly threatened wildlife, including the Malayan tiger. Cutting through the Forest Complex is the 215km long Gerik-Jeli East-West Highway, through which poachers can easily gain access. Poaching remains the greatest and most urgent threat to our tigers.
