Dinheirosaurus was a long necked, herbivorous diplodocid sauropod that lived during the Late Jurassic, most commonly dated to the early Tithonian stage, in what is now Portugal. Its fossils come from the Lourinhã Formation, a well known Late Jurassic deposit. Dinheirosaurus is generally regarded as a diplodocid, although its exact classification remains debated.
