Simply put: Nage-no-kata is a demonstration of 15 Judo throws... and while I have mixed feelings on its practically, I understand its importance to the art of Judo. I've demonstrated it competitively in Indiana and Michigan State Champions, and we've gotten Gold medals from it, but more importantly, this demonstration must be done in order to achieve Black Belt status.
