There were times I felt completely safe, and others where I was genuinely scared for my life. Yes, certain experiences are linked to certain countries, but it is impossible to judge an entire place based on one person’s story. “Safe” and “unsafe” are shaped by many factors beyond the label of a country. What I have learned is that most things can be done safely with the right precautio
